About Me
I was born and raised in Texas, although the Ocean has drawn me to live in Florida three different times. I have always come back to be closer to my family. I'm a massage therapist. I'm a very relaxed person. I'm an advocate for the rights and safety of children, and the conservation of animals and nature.
Music
My mind is open to any type of music though there are a few types that I will only listen to for a short while.
My favorite musical artists are The Cure, Peter Murphy, Mike Patton, Interpol, Mogwai, and Type O and Live.
Movies
Some favorites are ... Naked Lunch, 12 Monkeys, 28 days later, The 13th Floor, The Notebook, The Gift, Troy, True Romance, Running Scared (the new one not the old comedy) , The Departed, Bowling for Columbine, Farenheit 911, An Inconvenient Truth, Spirited Away, James and the Giant Peach, Igby goes Down, 16 candles, Weird Science, Donnie Darko, Super High Me, Dances with Wolves, The last of the Mohicans (most any Native American themed movie), Breakfast on Pluto... Cillian Murphy is is an awesome actor. I like David Lynch films.
I'm always ready to watch a good scary movie or an Animal or Nature doc.
TV
Anything with nature or the paranormal.
Books
I like to read about different cultures and spiritual paths, the paranormal and mysteries. I sometimes read several over the same period of time to fit my mood.
Likes
The Healing Arts, Holistic Therapies, Spirituality, The Tarot. I like people who think before they speak and act.
Dislikes
I am bewildered by people who think that just because they have alot of money or they're a certain race, religion, gender, ecetera that it makes them better or more important than anyone else. I won't tolerate rude, disrespectful people.
Hobbies
Anything fun and/or enlightening.
Vices
Hint: it's green and I myself don't consider it a vice although, the Federal Law of the U.S. certainly does. Some reality tv - I'm amazed by idiots and I find some of the stuff entertaining.
Virtues
My virtue would probably be my unconditional, indestructable love for, and faith in my children and my nephew.
Heroes
Anyone who helps the less fortunate and helpless. Anyone who stands up and speaks for and helps protect the children and creatures who need them and our planet.
